Executives talk a lot about the importance of authenticity and integrity.
But it’s often hard to feel yourself under so much pressure, isn’t it?
Are you really clear enough about what you want, what you think, what you say and what you do?

Person-centred coaching provides a facilitated and confidential space for the busy executive to pause and ask yourself questions like:
These questions can eat away in the corner of your mind while you are telling yourself everything is just fine. Which means you can’t be fully focused and you can’t be fulfilled. So why not take some time out to address them?
I”m a business graduate who has spent decades in the corporate world, helping to manage some of the biggest energy development projects around the world. I know the pressures and the language of business. And I understand the type of person who makes things happen in business.
Person-centred coaching allows an unstructured (non-directive) attitude to executive coaching, with a dialogue that is under the control of the client rather than the coach. Its not about learning new skills, its about personal growth.
This type of coaching is profoundly different to all other approaches. It is not me, the coach, saying ‘you have this performance gap and need to do these things to fill it’. It is more like I’m helping you to ask yourself ‘what do I really want?’
Person-centred coaching is not dependent on there being some kind of skills gap or deficit in your functioning. It is based on the idea that we, like all living things, are built to seek personal growth. And this growth can be facilitated. So you don’t have to have a diminished view of yourself or your capacities to benefit from it. The coach is more like a sounding board; a helpful companion on your growth journey. And you can make use of such a companion whether you are in severe distress or just wondering how to make the most of your opportunities. It’s all about finding your best way forward.
The resources and capacities you need to make more authentic choices are actually already in yourself, if only they can be made available. I can help facilitate this, allowing you a more authentic, confident and open way of being.
Every week I speak online with executives around the world, helping them to optimise their personal priorities. Maybe I can help you too?

“The changes I have made out there happened because of the changes I made in our sessions.”
The person-centred approach is very different to other forms of coaching. We’ll be having a real conversation, but as equals, with gentleness and respect for your self-determination.
We will focus on whatever is most important to you at that moment, feeling our way forward together. Bring words or bring silence, it’s all ok. We can start anywhere.
Person-centred therapy is difficult and requires skill. Many therapists and counsellors claim to work in a person-centred way but may not be suitably trained. Choose your therapist carefully.
